The Commission
The POWER commission is a group of people drawn from a range of backgrounds and experience. They include representatives of the left, right and centre of politics, but are mostly people with no particular party political affiliation
The Commission will consider all the evidence YOU generate, from which they will produce a set of recommendations for the future of British democracy. The Inquiry's final report will be published in 2006.
The Commission is chaired by Helena Kennedy QC and will meet monthly from November 2004. Many of their meetings will be in towns and cities across Britain – giving you the chance to meet them and air your views.
